Sonny Mottahed joined Salman Partners in December 2005 after working in the oil and gas industry over the past eleven years. Sonny has strong analytical and operating work experience within many sectors of the energy business including, oilfield services, exploration and production, business consulting and most recently prior to joining Salman Partners, in the merchant energy group of a large Canadian independent oil and gas company. Throughout his career, Sonny has worked in West Africa, Former Soviet Union, United Kingdom, South America, US Gulf Coast, and Canada. Sonny attended the University of Calgary for his undergraduate studies and completed his graduate studies at Columbia Business School in New York City.
